Things you should know before going to India:
1. Don’t be afraid to get stared at. Indians stare a lot and are very curious. This is not bad intentioned. Smile back and they will be very happy.
2. Bring toilet paper everywhere or get used to the water guns in the bathroom. Public bathroom don’t normally have toilet paper.
3. A lot of restaurants are vegetarian only. There is a lot of choices in the menu and the food is delicious.
4. Always bargain the prices, you can almost cut the first price in half in most situations.
5. If you don’t want to get sick, don’t brush your teeth with the sink water (and never drink it obviously), don’t eat raw food that can be washed by water (salads, vegies, fruits, etc.)
6. Travel to India open minded and in peace, you will have the best trip of your life!
