The splendor carved out of marble

One of the most stunning Jain temples in the world

The Ranakpur Jain Temple is well known for its rich and prolific art treasures. Built in the 15th Century, the entire temple is carved from white marble. Some say that its architectural monuments are considered among the best in the world. If you're traveling between Udaipur and Jodhpur, you should definitely stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temple. There is no entrance fee.

Located in a village of Ranakpur near the town of Sadri, in the Pali District of Rajasthan.

How to get there:

The quickest way to make it to the temple is to fly to Udaipur and then take a short taxi ride. You can also take the train from Delhi to Falna, and then take a taxi to Ranakpur Temple. Or, you opt to take a 12 hour ride bus to get to Sanderao, and then a taxi to the temple. Otherwise, we recommend renting a car or hiring a tour guide.
