The city of ruins

The popular Hampi Town is located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River. It is well known for its ruins, belonging to the former medieval Vijayanagara Empire. We recommend hiring a guide to learn about the history and legends associated with this particular place. There is a lot to see in Hampi, such as temples, ruins of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets and much more.
