A wildlife natural attraction

Laos' biggest waterfall

Tad Fane Waterfall is 120 meters high and is located in the middle of the jungle in the Bolaven Plateau of Laos. You can cross the gorge on a 470 m zipline for 45-50 USD. The area is home to leopards, elephants, hornbills, and monkeys. Be careful for the wildlife, the cliffs and the muddy trails. Note, that you cannot come too close to the bottom of the waterfall, nor can you swim near it.

Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories. – Ray bradbury

How to get there:

The closest town to the Tad Fane Waterfall is Pakse, which can be reached by bus or by plane. From Pakse, it is an hour hike to get to the falls. You can also rent a tuk tuk.
