Overlooking a legendary river.

Scattered with thousands of sculptures of Buddha.

The Pak Ou Caves are two famous caves in the limestone cliff right on the shore of the Mekong River. Once you are inside the cave, you will see thousands of states of Buddha in all kinds of sizes. This religious site is still unknown to tourists and is definitely worth a visit

Located in the north of Luang Prabang, Laos.

How to get there:

We recommend reaching Ban Pak Ou by tuk tuk, and then taking a motor-canoe across the river to the caves. You can also hire a tour operator from Lao Lao ( known as “Whiskey Village”) or Luang Prabang.
