World-famous black-sand beach

Reynisfjara beach is a basalt sea stack located under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík í Mýrdal. You can enjoy the view from above, or on its beaches by the Atlantic waves. The sea stacks are home to thousands of nesting seabirds.
