South America's largest lakes

Peru's "folkloric capital,"

The city of Puno is a beautiful place where to stay to explore the immense Titicaca Lake, walk with alpacas, take a boat to the floating city and hike around to enjoy the views of the immense plateaus and plains. Music and dance are typical parts of the Puno folklore. If you are lucky to be in the area during the celebrations of the Feast of the "Virgen de la Candelaria" and the Regional Competition of Autochthonous Dances you will definitely be amazed.
