The Cave of the Swallows is an open air pit cave featuring a 1200-foot drop. You can walk down to the bottom of the cave with the 1500 at your disposal, or you can pay for a thrilling rappelled descent. The Cave is home to thousands of birds, who spiral out of its mouth each day at sunrise. It is also a popular destination for base-jumpers.

The Cave of the Swallows is a popular destination for tourism, therefore it is easilly accessible.There is a paved road that leads to the entrance of the cave, this allows you to reach the caves with a motor vehicle, or via guided tour.
