Where the water enters the earth

A unique sight in Belize

The iconic Blue Creek Cave is a must-see when you are in the Santa Cruz area. The impressive entrance of the cave features crystal-clear waterfalls which form natural pools. You can take refreshing dip in the pool at the entrance of the main cave. There is even a rope swing for the adventurous. During the dry season, you can visit the interior of the cave by swimming trough the cave pools. We recommend hiring a local guide to visit the cave. You will see beautfiul stalagmites and stalactites along the way.

Adventure is worthwhile.

Located in the beautiful village of Blue Creek

How to get there:

We recommend driving to Blue Creek Cave yourself via rental vehicle. Park before the small bridge and it is a 20 minute walk into the forest to reach the cave. The trail is well-maintained and recognizable. You can also book an organized tour with TIDE Tours or CAYO Adventure Tours.
