Wanaka is a lively town in the South Island with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and clear water lakes. The city of Wanaka is also a popular ski and summer resort town. It hosts a growing number of restaurants, cafes and offers a diverse nightlife. Whille there, you will have the chance to see one of the most photographed trees in the world: the “Lone Tree of Lake Wanaka,” that symbolises hope and endurance.

How to get there:

Wanaka is easily accessible by car or bus. Wanaka is a town located an hour away from Queenstown Airport. Christchurch and Dunedin are also a few hours drive from Wanaka.
