A hidden paradise

An impressive cascade over granite bedrock

The Wainui Fall is a 20-metre waterfalls located in the Abel Tasman National Park with a cool swimming hole at the bottom. From the parking lot, you will have to walk about 40 minutes into the forest and cross a a long chain-linked swinging bridge to get to the waterfalls.

Located in Wainui Bay, in the Tasman region of New Zealand

How to get there:

The best option to get to the falls is to rent a car and to drive there yourself. Wainui Falls is about 2.5 hours drive away from Nelson, or 30 minutes from Takaka. There is a 400 meters-long gravel road to get to the parking lot.
