100 year old turtles

A must-see location on the North Shore.

Turtle Beach, also known as Laniakea Beach, is famous for its Hawaiian green sea turtles. These magnificent protected creatures are in their natural habitats. The best time of the day to see the sea turtles is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They are endangered creatures, so it is important to respect their habitat and spaces. We recommend staying more than 5 meters away from the turtles while watching them. Please do not touch them.

This heart of mine was made to travel this world

Located on Oahu's North Shore

How to get there:

OAHU – The best option the reach Laniakea Beach is to drive your own car or to take the Route 60 bus. Turtle Beach has no signs indicating its location, but you will see a lot of cars parked on the side of the road just outside of Haleiwa. Laniakea Beach has no parking lot of its own, but parking is available on the side of a nearby road.
