A thrilling adventure

Ka Lae, also known as South Point, is the southernmost point in the United States. It is known for its cliff jumping installation from 20 to 45 feet. The deep blue waters just below the cliffs are accessible by ladders connected to old boat hoists. South Point is also a fertile fishing location that has been used by Hawaiians for centuries. While visiting South Point, we recommend passing by Green Sand Beach seeing as they are very close in proximity.

Located on the southernmost point of the Big Island

How to get there:

BIG ISLAND – The easiest way to get to South Point is to rent your own 4×4 vehicle. It is about an hour and a half drive from downtown Kailua-Kona. The road is paved but narrow, so drive carefully.
