The highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco

At 4,167 metres

The Toubkal Mountain is situated within the Atlas Mountain Range, and it also happens to be the highest peak found here at over 4,000 meters. Mount Toubkal is a phenomenal sight and is absolutely worth a visit if you love to experience everything that the great outdoors has to offer. Hiking this towering mountain is no easy feat, but the sweeping views of snowcapped mountains from such heights are incredibly worth it.

Life is a journey, not a destination”

How to get there:

When climbing Mount Toubkal, you will most likely begin from the village of Imlil. It will take you about 5-7 hours to get to the Toubkal Refuges. The best time of year to explore and hike this mountain is either in the late spring or the early fall months. Going during this time will ensure that you have the best weather possible, and you will be met with gorgeous meadows and wildflowers if you go in the springtime. The climb does take about 2 days, and taking a guided tour is definitely the way to go. You will want to bring warm layers, as the mountain range does get quite a bit cooler than other regions of Morocco.
