The Bolivian "Jurassic Park"

One of the most scenic sights of the country

Torotoro National Park is a semi-arid landscape situated 140 km south of Cochabamba.The Park is featuring impressive canyons as deep as 300 meters. It also features an archaeological site with multiple fossils. Dinosaur bone fragments and more than 2,500 dinosaur footprints have been found in the park.

How to get there:

The best option to get to Torotoro National Park is to jump on a minibus for a 4 hour drive. It cost only 35BOB (US$5) per person. There are also multiple options for tour operators in Torotoro that includes transportation.
