One of the largest Mayan cities

Tikal is an ancient Mayan citadel located in the heart of the tropical forests of Northern Guatemala. It encompasses 575 square kilometres of jungle and thousands of ruined structures. It is estimated to have started being built in the 1st century A.D. The temples found in the National Park are the most impressive in Central America.

  1. Très bel endroit à visiter et encore peu touristique,vous avez la place presque à vous seul. Il est aussi possible de voir et surtout entendre les singes hurleurs. Sécuritaire et endroit familiale.
