The Magnificent Mexican Canyon

Sumidero Canyon is a dramatic natural formations featuring towering cliffs and dense jungle. It’s home to endangered species such as river crocodiles, spider monkeys and ocelots. For a bird's-eye view of the canyon, make your way to one of the many viewpoints the site has to offer. For the best experience of the canyon, you can take a boat ride inside the canyon between the walls, which tower 2,500 feet above you, and then through some impressive caves.
