An iconic lava-rock beach

Shark's Cove is a famous snorkeling and picnicking destination on the North Shore of Oahu. Shark's Cove is a small rocky bay which forms part of Pupukea Beach Park, with beautiful blue waters. An impressive amount of sea life reside in Shark's Cove, such as, butterfly fish, parrot fish, damselfish, surgeonfish, tang and more! If you forget your mask, there is a local shack across the street to rent some gear. It is also a perfect place to watch the sunset.

How to get there:

OAHU – You can reach Shark’s Cove by car from Highway 83, which will lead you to the northern coastline to the small parking lot. You can also take the bus, Route 60, which will take you north, next to the beach park.
