Jewel of Mexico

snorkeling destination

At first, you'll want to see the inland jungle, some Mayan ruins and mangrove forests. Then jump in a boat, an hour later, the guide tells you to put your life jacket to your waist and float down the freshwater lagoons, you may see crocodiles (and swim!) with manatees.

Sian Ka'an is a nature reserve located on the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico

How to get there:

Road 307 (Chetumal-Cancun) to Muyil Mayan ruins, then follow the jungle path to access a beach with boats.
