One of Nepal's most sacred Hindu temples

Pashupatinah Temple is the largest temple complex in Nepal and was built in the 5th Century. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, making it one of most important religious sites in all of Asia. It is an impressive cultural and spiritual experience, which is open to visitors.

Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, approximately 5 km north-east of Kathmandu

How to get there:

You must first make your way to Kathmandu. From there, you can walk or take a taxi to the temple. The buses can be very dirty and overcrowded.
