The holiest Buddhist stupa in Nepal

Also known as Swayambhu, Monkey Temple is a buddhist temple located atop of a hill in the Kathmandu Valley. The steep steps will lead you to the temple mobbled by Rhesus Macaques. It is also a great place to watch the sunset over Kathmandu. The entrance fee is about 200 rps .

How to get there:

You can walk the 3km distance from kathmandu to the temple or you can take the bus.
