“The Lost World”

Noel Kempff Mercado is a 750 000 hectares National Park, it is well known for unique beauty, incredible biodiversity and largely untouched vegetation. You can encounter rare river dolphins, howler monkeys and endangered jaguars during your visit in the park. You might as well want to see the picturesque 80 meters Arco Iris Waterfalls situated in the south side of the park. The entry to Noel Kempff Mercado National Park is free however all visitors must register at the park rangers office before entering the national park.

How to get there:

There are two main entrances to Noel Kempff National Park, each with tourism facilities: Flor de Oro (North Side) and Los Fierros (South Side). Most people choose to fly via small plane to Noel Kempff National Park for the convenience and for the magnificent views. The park is also accessible by land, but roads are only accessible during the dry season. A 4WD is required costing around $100 US per day to hire
