Mount Damper is a 74 meter-high waterfall located in the North Island. From the parking lot, it is a 2 km, roundtrip distance. The track is closed due for hunting-season every year from August 1st to October 31st.
The easiest option to get to Mount Damper falls is to drive your own car, the drive is scenic all the way to the waterfall.
Once you reach the parking lot, the walk to the Purakaunui Waterfalls takes approximately 10 minutes.
The museum is located in Wellington, so you can easily get there by bus, taxi, rental car and plane.
