The beauty of an untouched nature

UNESCO World Heritage Site

La Amistad National Park is well known for its untouched jungle and abundance of wildlife such as monkeys, jaguars and pumas. It is estimated that two thirds of all the wildlife in Costa Rica can be found at La Amistad International Park. The park area is equally split between Costa Rica and Panama. Because many of the trails are unmarked, visitors are advised to hire a guide for their trip.
