An unforgettable reckless experience

A hidden treasure

The hidden 35-foot water slide located in the jungle of Waipio Valley is a reckless journey itself. The two hour hike includes walking through dense forests, dark tunnels and breathtaking views. The slide is polished enough to slide down on your own, but feel free to bring your flotable devices!

What you've done becomes the judge of what you're going to do — especially in other people’s minds. When you're traveling, you are what you are right there and then. People don't have your past to hold against you. No yesterdays on the road. – William least heat moon

Located in the depths of Waipio Valley

How to get there:

BIG ISLAND – The hike begins at the end of White Road in Waimea. At the end of the road, you may meet the owner of the land who will ask you for a fee to cross on his land. You will have to pass the small fence and head towards the forest where you will see a small path. There is a second fence to step over and enter the forest. You will walk along a small stream and then walk in water irrigation canals before arriving at the slide.
