Flamenco Beach, situated in Cluebra Island, is a must-see in Puerto Rico. It offers dramatic swimming and snorkeling sites, white sand beaches, turquoise clear waters and panoramic views of the many mountains. Flamenco Beach is also popular for its rusty half-burried tank in the sand right on the beach. While visiting the beach, you can stay at the campground right next to the beach with a view on the ocean. Bring a tent or a hammock and sleep under the stars with the sound of the waves.
You can easily reach the island of Culebra by ferry from Fajardo. The ferry leaves a few times a day and you can bring your car on it. Once in Culebra, there are golf carts and jeeps that you can also rent to drive around Flamenco Beach.
