The popular Crash Boat Beach is situated in the municipality of Aguadilla. The beach has huge cement piers and white sandy beaches. It begot its name due to a boat that crashed into the pier before it sank. Today, the pier remains are used by many as a fishing and cliff jumping hub, and they are home to rich aquatic life, which is perfect for local divers. The beach is surrounded by mountains that offer a view of the shoreline and vegetation. These can be explored by the available walking trails.
Crash Boat Beach is approximately a 2 hour drive from the San Juan area. Upon arrival, there is public parking available, and the beach is easy to locate. The easiest way to reach the beach is to rent a car and drive there yourself, for the public transport is not very reliable in the area.
