Cordillera Real is home to plenty of stunning scenery and incredible hiking opportunities! The 125km Andean mountain range rises from La Paz to the southeast of Lake Titicaca. There isn’t a great deal of information on hiking in the Cordillera Real, so you might want to hire a tour operator. You can book a guided trip from 1-17 days trek, gear and transportation included. The hiking season in the Cordillera Real is generally April to October.
You can easily get to Cordillera Real from La Paz by car, taxi or by bus. There are irregular buses from La Paz to Cohoni. The easiest way to reach the mountain range is to jump on an organized tour that includes transportation.
