A beautiful and peaceful natural reserve

The dramatic Natural Reserve of Cerro Tzankujil is definitely a must in Guatemala. It features a spectacular crystal-clear swimming lake with a thrilling diving platform. You can even rent kayaks and cruise around the clear and peaceful lake.The natural reserve offers beautiful hiking trails leading to a Mayan altar at the summit along with some breathtaking views. The entrance fee to Cerro Tzankujil Naturel Reserve is about $2 USD per person.

How to get there:

For a small free, there are shuttles available in Antigua and Guatemala City that offer transporation services towards Cerro Tzankujil Naturel Reserve. From San Pedro, you can take a 15-minute boat ride to the reserve, which costs Q10. Finally, you can also drive there on your own via rental car or you could even book a tour operator.
