Some of the popular attractions on the Beara Peninsula include the town of Castletownbere, which is a major fishing port and a hub for seafood restaurants; Dursey Island, which is accessible only by cable car and is home to a colony of seals; and the Beara Way, a walking trail that takes visitors through some of the most scenic areas of the peninsula.
