A heaven for ecotourism

The jewel of Panama's Caribbean Coast

The San Blas Islands is an archipelago of 365 islands, situated east of the Panama Canal. Over 300 of the islands are uninhabited. This off-the-beaten path destination is known for its untouched beauty, white-sand beaches, outdoor activities and its relaxing vibes.

How to get there:

There are a few ways to reach the archipelago. You can fly to San Blas Islands for about $100, take a speedboat from Capurganá, or take the bus from Panama City. Booking a sailing trip to the island is also a popular alternative. There, you can sleep on hammocks by the beach or in a cabin on the boat. Sometimes, sailboats offer paddle boards and snorkeling gear which you can borrow.
