The iconic Tijuca National Park is a 39-sq-km tropical-jungle preserve. It is home to beautiful trees, creeks, waterfalls, hundreds of species of plants and wildlife. It features some impressive hiking opportunities, the most common destinations in the park are: Diamantina's waterfall, Parrot's Beak, Tijuca's Peak, Cave Circuit, Archer's hill, Anhanguera' hill, The Excelsior's lookout and the Bat's cave.

How to get there:

The best option to get to Tijuca National Park is to rent a car or a scooter. You can also hire a tour operator, a taxi or a private driver to explore the park.
