A 3 million year old river cave

The world's largest cave

Son Doong Cave is the most precious natural wonders in Vietnam, currently measuring a total of 38.5 million cubic meters. It is so big that you could fit a New York City block with a 40-story skyscraper inside the cave. Inside, you will find amazing stalactites and the world's largest stalagmites (up to 80 meters high). The entrance fee is about 30$ USD but you can also book a two day tour of intense jungle trekking and river crossings in order to reach the entrance and explore the cave.

To get to Son Doong Cave, you will have to reach the only village located inside the Phong Nha Ke-Bang National Park: the Ban Doong village, which is home to ethnic minorities. This region is only accessible by foot seeing as it is surrounded by dense jungles. It is a 2 to 4 day trek to reach the entrance of the cave. The tours are exclusive to https://oxalisadventure.com
