An underwater paradise

Moreton Island is the ideal place for your next dive trip. It is rich with offshore reefs, several shipwrecks (a total of 15 vessels were sunk) and an impressive variety of marine life. The water is crystal-clear year-round which offers good visibility. Dive or snorkel the Curtin Artificial Reef and the Tangalooma Wrecks for a breathtaking views.

How to get there:

The easiest way to get to Moreton Island is by ferry, barge or boat from Brisbane which costs $65 – $120 and takes 1h 30m. The Moreton Island shipwreck is a 15 minute walk up the beach from Tangalooma Island Resort. You can either walk along the beach or rent a beach bike from Tangatours.
