The highlight of Kauai's South Shore

A gorgeous beach

Shipwreck Beach is a long stretch of golden sand on the eastern end of Poipu. The beach got its name from a small wooden boat that used to lie at the water's edge for many years. It is a popular place for cliff jumping and it is a local favorite for surfing. Caution, in the winter the current is very strong.
