One of the most popular trekking paths

The spectacular scenery and the moderate slope of the Cares Trail makes it ideal to enjoy hiking along its path. The Cares Trail runs between the Cantabrian Mountains and is referred to as the "Divine Gorge" of the Cares river. The path is carved into the rocks of the mountains for a total hike of 12 km.

How to get there:

From Cangas, you must follow the AS-114 road that goes into region of Cantabria. Then, take the AS-264 following the course of the river Cares. Continue until you arrive to Poncebos.
