The spectacular landscape of Nelson Lakes National Park has something on offer for everyone. It is a popular destination for hiking: from easy lakeside walking tracks to challenging alpine hikes. The park is also a popular area for camping, tramping and fishing.

How to get there:

The easiest option to get to the park is to drive there on your own. The closest town to Nelson Lake National Park is St. Arnaud, which is an hour and a half away from Nelson or Blenheim.
