The beautiful Los Chorros Waterfalls, also known as the "Seven Waterfalls", are situated just outside the town of Juayua. The falls are feature crystal-clear swimming pools, a small underwater tunnel and cliff jumping opportunities. If you continue onto the trail and past the main waterfalls, you will see another beautiful set of cascades. If you do not feel safe going there alone, you can hire a guide and go there on the weekends, whereby the site is protected by police officers.
The only way to get to Los Chorros waterfalls is by foot or by tuk tuk. If opting for the latter, the driver will wait for you at the falls until you come back. We do not recommend bringing your car there. It is a short 10 minute walk from the end of the road to the first waterfall.
