Lencois is a unique National Park situated on the northeastern coast of Brazil. The park features iconic sand dunes, white sand beaches and crystal clear lagoons. During the rainy season the sand dunes are filled up with water creating hundreds of crystal clear lagoons. This attraction is definitely a must do in Brazil.

Located in Maranhão state in northeastern Brazil

How to get there:

The best option to get to Lencois National Park is to reach the capital of Maranhão first. From there, you can book tours or take public transportation to the town of Barreirinhas which is located just outside the national park.
