A beautiful and lesser-known destination

A hidden jewel

The amazing Las Conchas Waterfalls serve as a quiet and peaceful area without too many tourists. The refreshing natural swimming pool at the bottom of the falls is perfect to enjoy a short dip after humid walk in the jungle. The area is full of sinkholes, waterfalls, turquoise pools and caves. The entrance fee to the falls is Q50.

There's a sunrise and sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.

Located on the Río Chiyú in Las Conchas

How to get there:

The best option to reach Las Conchas Waterfalls is to drive there yourself. The park can be reached by the paved roads from Río Dulce, which are in mint-condition. There is a well-marked sign on the side of the road and as well as a big parking lot.
