The highest tides in the world

Hopewell Rocks is situated in the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick. It is a popular 40–70 feet tall rock formation caused by tidal erosions. Strangely, the tides in the Bay of Fundy are disproportionate. The tidal range is about 13 metres, whereas the average tidal range is approximately one metre.

Located on the shores of the upper reaches of the Bay of Fundy at Hopewell Cape

How to get there:

Hopewell Rock is situated only one hour drive from the nearest airport in Moncton. The best way to get there is by driving your own car because there is no public transportation services to Hopewell. However, there are private tour buses that offer trips in the area.
