One of the most popular ecotourism destinations in Brazil

One of the largest flooded cavities on the planet

Also known as "Blue Lake Grotto", The Gruta do Lago Azul is a impressive cave system with spectacular rock formations and crystal clear water lake. The underwater site is tremendously rich in giant mammal fossils. It is approximately 200m from the reception to the cavern entrance and the cave itself is 200m deep. You have to join an organized tour to visit the cave. It cost about R80$ for the day trip.
