CRETE – You have to drive to get there. There is no public transport stops. You park on the side of the road in this little dirt parking. You have to walk your way down to the first beach (5 min walk). If you want some more quiet time you can hike for an other 10 min to go on the other side of the Glaros beach. On the most crowded days of august we were only 2 families on that beach.
Rethimno Town
CRETE – Buses connect Rethimno with major cities in Crete. Ferries are available from other Greek islands and the mainland.
