Eltz Castle is a medieval castle located in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, in Germany. It is one of the few castles in the region that has never been destroyed, and it has been owned by the same family for over 850 years. The castle was built in the 12th century and has been expanded and modified over the centuries. It is known for its stunning architecture, with a mix of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque styles. Eltz Castle has a complex layout with multiple towers, courtyards, and living quarters. Visitors to Eltz Castle can take guided tours to explore the castle's history, art, and architecture. The castle is also surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and scenic views of the Moselle Valley. Eltz Castle is a popular tourist destination and has been featured in many films and television shows.

How to get there:

By Public Transportation: You can take a train to the town of Moselkern and then take a bus to the castle. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.

By Hiking: You can also hike to the castle. There are several trails that lead to the castle, including the Moselsteig trail, which is a popular hiking route.
