Unique tree formation

One of the most photographed locations

The Dark Hedges is a beautiful avenue of beech trees that line the Bregagh Road near the village of Armoy in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The trees were planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family, who owned the nearby Gracehill House. The Dark Hedges has become a popular tourist attraction and has been used as a filming location in several movies and TV shows, including Game of Thrones. The road is closed to vehicles in the evenings during the tourist season to allow visitors to walk along the avenue and take photos.

I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list

Located between Armoy and Stranocum in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

How to get there:

By Car: The Dark Hedges is located in County Antrim, about 1 hour’s drive from Belfast. If you have a car, you can take the M2 northbound from Belfast and then take the Ballymena exit onto the A26. From there, follow signs to Ballymoney and then to the Dark Hedges.
