It is situated on a hill overlooking the Moselle River and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. Today, Cochem Castle is open to the public for tours and features a museum showcasing the castle's history and the life of Louis Ravené. Visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from the castle's towers and ramparts.

How to get there:

By Bus: There are several bus lines that connect Cochem with nearby cities and towns. Once you arrive in Cochem, you can take a taxi or walk to the castle

By Train: Cochem has its own train station, which is located about 2 kilometers from the castle. From the train station, you can take a taxi or walk to the castle. Trains from major cities in Germany, such as Frankfurt, Cologne, and Berlin, stop at Cochem station.
