Porto is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal. The architecture, the viewpoints over the Douro river, the music in the streets and the people create an extraordinary atmosphere around this old town. It is from Porto that you can visit the iconic vineyards and taste the real Port wine. I recommend renting a bike (12 Euros for the whole day) and going to the oceanside (around Praia do Ourigo), there ride is super smooth and the views are cool. You can also surf there !

The best way to get to Porto is by train or by bus. There are multiple daily departures from both transport system. From Lisbon, the ride is about 3-4 hours and cost about 15-20 Euros.
