The largest city of Portugal

One of the oldest cities in the world,

Travelling to Lisbon is incredibly smooth. The public transport system is really accurate, there is a lot of good restaurants, a lot of accommodation and the city is very pedestrian friendly. I recommend renting a bike (for about 14 Euros a day) and go visit the Belem tower. You will definitely enjoy the scenic 1h ride along the river. There is also a few castles and "miradouro" to visit around town.

How to get there:

Normally people flight in Lisbon at first. But if you arrive in Porto, the best way to get to Lisbon is by train or by bus. There are multiple daily departures from both transport system. From Porto, the ride is about 3-4 hours and cost about 15-20 Euros.
