A spectacular coastal drive

Where the mountains meet the sea

The Cabot Trail is a roadway encircling the island of Cape Breton situated at the eastern end of Nova Scotia. Along the Cabot Trail, you’ll find iconic ocean views, hiking trails, colourful fishing villages, and secluded beaches. Cape Breton is definitely the perfect destination for the road trip of a lifetime. There are several iconic campsites offering incredible viewpoints. We highly recommend the following campgrounds: Fishing Cove, Meat Cove and Corney Brook

To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted. – Bill bryson

Located on the Atlantic coast of North America and part of the province of Nova Scotia

How to get there:

The best way to visit Cape Breton is to drive your own car on the Cabot Trail. You can rent a car at the airport, or via other car rental companies in the area.

  1. This sector of Nova Scotia is indeed one of the most beautiful places for a road trip in Eastern Canada. We must take it easy because we would stop every 100 meters. This place is amazing. I recommend.
