A famous hiking area

A breathtaking view

Bear Mountain is a 19 kilometer round-trip trail located near Kent, British Columbia. The whole trail takes approximately 5-7 hours with beautiful scenery along the way. After the first 1.5 km you will reach a waterfall. This is the best place along the trail to fill up your water bottles to stay hydrated.

Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories. – Ray bradbury

How to get there:

The best way to get to Bear Mountain is to drive your own car because there is no public transportation to the site. The trailhead (and parking lot) is a 10 minute drive from the main Harrison strip, and about two hours away from downtown Vancouver. There is no official parking lot, so you will have to park by the sign.
